Controlled Designation of Origin (D.O.C.)
Blend: 90% Uva Rara, 5 % Vespolina, 5% Nebbiolo
Alcohol: 11,5% vol.–12,5% vol.
Total Acidity: 4,5/5,5 g/l
Colhour: Ruby-red with a purple rim.
Aroma: Delicate, ethereal, with fragrances of red fruit.
Flavour: Mellow, with good structure and persistence.
Fermentation and ageing
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature. The wine is aged in large Slavonia Oak barrels for 12 months.
Ageing in the bottle: 9 months
Serving temperature: 18°C
Suggested glass: Baloon
Suggested food pairing: Cold meats, rice, pasta, pizza and white meats.
Ageing potential: 10-15 years
All our wines are produced using only grapes from our own vines, which have been cultivated in collaboration with the faculty of Agriculture, Viticulture and Oenology of the University of Milan since 1986, using methods that respect the naturalness of our grapes.
